LOT9 Framework Contract with the EC (Education, Employment and Social affairs):

EU-China European Studies Centres Programme, EC LOT 9

• Review of background material and preparation of a tentative mission plan, including proposed methodology (at the expert’s home base and in Beijing), which shall be endorsed by EC Delegation;
• Briefings at GOPA in Germany, at the EC Delegation and Ministry of Commerce in Beijing to discuss the Project, evaluation criteria and methodology and tentative mission plan;
• Interviews and discussions with the PMO staff and relevant counterparts and stakeholders including CASS, Ministry of Education (MOE) in Beijing;
• Visit to and meetings with beneficiary ESCs in Beijiing and other provinces, as appropriate.
• Interview and discussion with various beneficiaries in selected universities and institutions including scholars, students etc; 
• Debriefings at the EC Delegation and the Ministry of Commerce on preliminary findings and conclusions at the end of mission in China;
• Finalisation of evaluation mission report at the expert’s base by incorporating any additional comments from the EC Delegation and submission of the final report for final approval.
